     Usually one click is enough and you will find your daily breakfast

     newspaper also on the Internet.

     From the "Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung" [FAZ] and the

    "Sueddeutsche Zeitung" with Germany wide importance to our

    "AugsburgerAllgemeine Zeitung" and also our local culture 

    magazin "Neue Szene": nearly all traditional papers have their

    www-version.

German in second place of foreign languages in Europe

The German language comes second in the ranking of the foreign languages in Europe. This is the result of a current survey by the European Commission asking 30.000 Europeans in 25 countries.

The most widely spoken foreign language is still English (34%), followed by German (12%) and French (11%). The eastern enlargement has moved German forward to second place, because the language is very common in the new member countries.
